La amabilidad del propietario y su disposición a ayudar, además de tener una conversación interesante. También el edificio es una bella propiedad bien conservada con antigüedades y arte que te remonta al pasado. Buen desayuno. Las camas muy confortables al igual que la ducha. Muy recomendable, Volvería sin dudar.

Staying at La Closerie de la Fuye was one of the best decisions we made on our trip. For children, it is a truly magical place, with a variety of animals they can pet, including a pair of llamas that live in the nearby grove. The estate is set in the heart of a large, lush green garden that is a pleasure to stroll through, or simply to sit in with a book or a cup of coffee. The rooms are furnished in an old-fashioned style, with antique furniture and chandeliers - we absolutely loved it. Breakfast is very generous, and the owners, Denis and Catherine, are charming and full of recommendations for places to visit and things to do in the area. Every one of their suggestions turned out to be spot-on.

There wasn’t enough storage space in the suite. A few additional shelves would have been helpful.

We loved our stay here. Denis and Catherine were excellent hosts. It was so lovely to chat to Denis about his home and hear his many interesting stories of his life and of the house. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The house is full of character and history with two gorgeous dogs that add to that! The property has excellent gardens with animals, buildings and a forest to explore. We hired the electric bikes and enjoyed a day cycling the Loire seeing castles and tasting wine. Denis’s breakfasts were fantastic! And he had so many excellent tips for the area. We so recommend staying at this welcoming characterful home. Thanks Denis and Catherine!

Nothing really! The property isn’t easily accessible by public transport but we knew in advance so it didn’t matter. It was a short €15 uber drive from Tours.
