Apartment DOLEA

Great property - very well stocked and easy walk to old town.

We loved this apartment as a place to stay that was in such easy reach of the historic city centre. We arrived after a long bus journey and a short walk from the station to this delectable apartment with an adorable balcony. We felt like royalty as Daniela the owner provided everything from herbal teas, to shampoo and conditioner to suncreams and more. The apartment was clean, tidy and linens were impeccable and towels aplenty. We felt safe and our stay felt like a full embrace. The size and overall space was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We felt blest arriving and felt blest upon leaving.

There was really very little that we didn't like.

It is the most well-equipped apartment I have ever stayed in; it has everything you could possibly think of. It is within walking distance of the historic center. The bedroom is very comfortable.

The host took a while to send the check-in details; we arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time, and since I didn't have internet access, we were a bit lost. It would be better to send the information the day before to avoid any hassle.

Our stay at Apartment Dolea was perfect from the very beginning. We arrived earlier and wonderful host Daniela kindly allowed us to leave our luggage so we could start enjoying Split right away. We were especially impressed by her thoughtfulness – she provided us with beach towels and sunscreen, which was incredibly helpful. Bačvice Beach is only a few minutes' walk away so we spent the time before check-in relaxing by the sea. When we returned the apartment was already ready for us and Daniela had thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning in advance so that we were welcomed by a pleasantly cool temperature. In the afternoon we explored the Old Town and Diocletian’s Palace, Riva and West Coast, just a short walk from the apartment. The location is ideal for discovering Split while still being situated in a quiet street that guarantees peace and relaxation. The apartment itself is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. We were welcomed with croissants, a variety of coffees and teas, water, juice, milk, jams, sauces, and fresh fruit in the refrigerator. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, toothbrushes, cotton pads, makeup remover, razors and many other thoughtful amenities. Even laundry detergent was provided. Although we did not cook during our stay we were pleasantly surprised by the high-quality WMF cookware and cutlery. Daniela is an exceptional host—warm, attentive, and always available to answer any questions, even before our arrival in Split. Throughout our stay, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! We will definitely return to Apartment Dolea and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Split ❤️
