Narragansett House

Excellent location in walking distance to great beaches, shopping, and dining, as well as the ferry. Omar and the rest of the staff were very attentive and made every effort to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable.The room was clean and comfortable.

My husband and I booked a room at the Narragansett House for a quick last-minute getaway early week in June. We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was at the House. Location is A+++. It's a five minute walk to the water and a two minute walk to the main street in town-- all while feeling separate from any commotion. The accommodations were charming and the house itself felt like an experience; we spent a ton of time on the porch, taking in the setting and saying "hello" to neighbors as though we had known them our whole lives. A great breakfast was provided and there was a special "sundown" treat of cake in the early evening. The most outstanding element of our stay, however, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such care and warmth. Special thanks to Anna for texting us when our room was ready, and to Omar for helping us get our bags up the 1700's stairs! Thank you to ALL of the staff for going above and beyond to make us feel totally at home and relaxed on our quick vacation. We feel as though we have a little place that feels like home we can return to on the island, and it's because of all of you.

I liked how they service your room daily. I liked that they offered beach chairs and towels for the beach. The rocking chairs on the porch was nice. After 3 days a friendly employee showed up, which was refreshing and I told her so. I also liked that they had juice and alcoholic beverages available for free. Made to order waffles and egg choices were okay.

I did not like how unfriendly the intake staff and everyday staff was. They acted like we were bothering them if we asked for something so we tried not to ask. After 3 days of being there another staff member showed up and was very friendly. A breath of fresh air and I told her so. Our waffles usually came out luke warm or cold so we didn't order them again. Just be patient for your made to order order. We saw another guest get bacon and when we asked the cook he said that there was no more. We offered to go buy some and he said that he doesn't eat meat so he doesn't like cooking it. NOT COOL!!!!! Also, I've never seen such a small TV in a room. It was like 13" My 6 year granddaughter asked me what it was??? LOL/SMH
