Island Inn

Been going to MV for 30 years renting a home in Katama. This was a shorter stay and offered reasonable prices. Nice location for biking and walking. Quick to OB and short bike to Edgartown. Also easy to grab bus right on the main road if needed.

I had to park very far from my unit one night and barely got parking because of a band playing at Nomans. I love Nomans and one of the reasons I chose the property because it’s a great spot for food, drinks and live music. If the lot is full you need to take their shuttle from down the road. However I found lots of people telling Nomans staff they were going to The island Inn and using guest parking. I had to hang my parking pass in my window, what’s the point?

The whole complex needs to be updated. No view of the water.

Location was very convenient. Easy bike ride (10 mins) or walk (25 mins) to the main street area. The property has tennis courts on site which was super nice.

The room walls are very very thin. I could hear every conversation and every step. It felt like my whole room shook whenever someone walked in their room.

we've been staying at the island inn for many years. we love the location and the facilities are usually well maintained. the maintenance staff was lovely and is helpful as possible. they seemed to be covering for housekeeping as well.

We were staying in 36G. the unit had several issues that we didn't experience when we stayed in that one 2 years ago. towel hooks were ripped off the walls. one of the twin beds was broken and the slats continued to fall off when my son was sleeping. there were two TVs that didn't allow streaming without Roku passwords. the phone was broken. The main light in the living room area was missing several bulbs. The unit was starting to look run down. We had no screen door until I complained.
