About this house rental
This cozy single story home has 2 bedrooms with full bath plus a bedroom/den (The Art Room) with 1/2 bath. Master: King bed with ocean view; Second Bedroom: 2 twins, 'Art Room' has one twin and 1/2 bath. Fantastic views from living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room and Art Room. Relax by wood fire (wood mother nature at her best regardless of the weather. Open floor plan. Wonderfully appointed home and completely stocked kitchen. Lovely oceanfront lawn and beach chairs. Nice gas BBQ to grill up dinner (maybe some fresh fish??) Beach toys. Cement steps off the lush lawn right down to our flat sandy beach perfect for long walks, dogs, kids, sandcastles, kite flying, surf fishing, rock hunting, or just sitting a reading a book or watching whales, seals and sea lions, pelicans and shorebirds of all kinds. You only need to bring your clothes and what you want to eat. We take care of the rest. Washer/Dryer and garage. Extra refrigerator in garage for longer stays. New flat screen TV. WiFi provided.

Gem on the coast. Felt good from the moment we walked in. This is a very well-cared-for older home. Pictures don't do it justice. Lots of comfortable chairs, an abundance of kitchen supplies, beautiful artwork, the wallpaper in the bathroom is one masterpiece after another. It's fun to walk around to notice all the little touches. Ocean view is just as pictured and easy-peasy short steps to the sand - and lots of it. For some reason walking on this sandy beach is easier than walking on the sand in southern california - it's more stable, doesn't give under foot. Walked it up and down the beach every morning and evening. Also bundled up and sat on the back patio every evening. Being covered and cornered, we were protected by wind. Yachats is a lovely area - everything you need and very quiet. Love this place!

Everything you need is there! A lot of vintage things in the house, but everything works great! Also, I hope they never change the bathroom wallpaper! I would describe it as " quaint". Ocean access is perfect. Good place for the money.

Incredible view and access to beach. The location cannot be beat. The house is mostly comfortable. Front room is very comfortable. The house needs a deep cleaning. Closers are full of random clothes, linens and other miscellaneous items. Small appliances in the kitchen were dirty. Comforter in prime bedroom was dirty. It’s hard to write a review pointing out sine negatives because we had a terrific time there, just wished it was cleaner.

The view from the living room is spectacular. Also, getting onto the beach is very safe and easy. The concrete steps built into the boulders made our several trips from the house to the beach and back actually enjoyable. My family loved the house and is making sure I book it again next year
