I stayed at RokuRoku Hotel from June 14th to June 18th, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I arrived very early and fully expected to wait until the regular check-in time. To my surprise, not only was my room already available, but the staff also upgraded me for free from a dormitory bed to a private traditional Japanese room. It was an incredibly generous gesture and a wonderful way to start my trip. The room was fantastic, clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which was a huge plus for me because I could enjoy a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds of tourists while still having easy access to everything I needed. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They made me feel valued from the moment I arrived, and I was treated with such warmth throughout my stay. The Wi-Fi was reliable, the location was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I was so impressed that I have already recommended RokuRoku Hotel to friends who will be visiting Japan later this year. 周りにスーパーやドラッグストア、食べ物屋さんがあるし、観光地も近い。バスも始発から乗れるし、近い距離なら自転車も借りられて便利

タオルが2日に1回交換だから連泊はタオルを持っていく必要がある所

For a budget friendly, hostel style accommodation, this is an excellent choice. Our double room was comfortable and had a small bathroom with shower and toilet. Great location, a few minutes walk from the Philosopher Path and famous temples and shrines. Here it is easy to avoid the masses of tourists. Nice area to walk around or use bicycles. Don't miss to go to the gorgeous Japanese style house where a simple breakfast is served or where you can enjoy tea or coffee. The view of the garden is divine and the older gentleman who serves you is a joy. The bus stop to get down town is a 2 minute walk away.

If you find the Japanese style pillows uncomfortable ((like me ,a side sleeper), just ask the friendly staff and they provide you with a western version.
