Chablé Maroma

Great location, amazing beach that was completely clean even if there was one of the biggest wave of sargasso of the last 10 years. The outside shower in stone was very beautiful.

In a 5 star location I expect that if you clean the room you will also clean the pool. Before and after the cleaning the same death insects were still there floating.

Probably the best hotel stay of my life. Chablé Maroma is nestled in the jungle and feels almost private, perfectly located between Playa del Carmen and Cancun. With only 70 casitas spread through the vegetation, and it being low season, the staff all knew us by name within a day. The rooms are beautiful, fully private, and immaculately maintained, with attention to detail everywhere you look. Our kids were obsessed with our private pool. The beach is gorgeous: clean, groomed several times a day! What sets this place apart is the people. The service is caring and genuinely personalized at every level, front desk, attendants, concierge, everyone. Countless small attentions made us feel at home. I was working remotely at night for a few days and the manager arranged a space for me to use. The restaurant staff noticed our daughter and started printing personalized drawing sheets for her at breakfast, with the things she likes. It's the kind of attention you can't fake. I believe her name was Paula. Honestly all the staff during our stay was outstanding! The food matches the service. Breakfast was perfect every morning, the Michelin-rated restaurant was outstanding, and the wine selection is excellent. They even had beach and pool toys ready for the kids. We arrived here after a disappointing stay at a much larger resort nearby (Xcaret Mexico), and the contrast was immediate. This is what 5-star actually means. We felt like royalty from arrival to departure and cannot wait to return.

Die ruhige Lage mitten im Dschungel hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Man hat sehr viel Privatsphäre. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Toller Service. Das Essen hervorragend.

Nur Kleinigkeiten, z.B. wurde unser Plunge Pool trotz mehrfacher Bitte zwei Tage nicht gereinigt. Selbst in einem solch wunderschönen Resort gab es „Liegenbesetzer“ weshalb wir an einem Tag keine Liege am Pool bekommen haben, aber fast keiner dort war.
