About this house rental
Beautiful Carmen in the heart of Albaicín, the most authentic neighborhood of Granada, a maze of streets with Arabic flavor. The house dates from 1910 and is rehabilitated respecting the style of the Albaicin and with all the comforts for you to enjoy your stay. It has a private garden with a small pool to cool off in summer and a terrace in one of the rooms. The house is spacious (135 m2) and is organized on 2 floors around an inner courtyard, it is full of details that make it really pleasant. On the upper floor there is a room with a double bed, a work area, another room with a double bed and another single or double bed with access to a small terrace (cot available) and a full bathroom with a very generous bathtub. On the ground floor are the kitchen and living room, with direct access to the patio and a toilet.
In the patio there is a room with everything needed for laundry.

A few meters away you will find shops, bars, restaurants. Well connected to the center of Granada, on foot, by bus or by taxi.

This hidden gem was our favorite place we stayed in Spain! Air conditioning in every room, a private Courtyard, and the pool helped us stay cool during the hottest days of the year. We cooked at home and easily walked to a number of excellent restaurants. Parking was definitely the most challenging part, but we went to Parking San Cristobal and left our car there almost the whole time (15 a day). The house is well equipped and we were in paradise!

The house is beautiful and comfortables, the host delightful and incredibly helpful (e.g. she helped us carry in our luggage to the house!!!). The location could not be better to explore the Albaicín and the rest of Granada. I hope we have a chance to come back and stay at the Patio del Olivi!

This is one of the best homes we have encountered in our travels. It is better than the photos! It is is a historic neighborhood on pedestrian streets. There is a grocery store and bus routes a couple blocks away. The beds are very comfortable with good pillows and bedding. Maria left us some basic food items and a nice bottle of wine. She has everything in the house you could possibly need. We enjoyed our week stay in the home and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and trying the many good restaurants nearby. Maria’s recommendations for restaurants was also very helpful. We miss the house and would love to come back to Granada someday.
Maria even met our cab at a nearby address to show us to the house. She also arranged for a cab to take us back to the airport and walked with us to the meeting place to ensure we were picked up on time. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I loved our stay at Patio del Olivos. First, the location was perfect for exploring the charming Albaicin neighborhood and was only a short walk into town. The house itself has lots of character and we especially enjoyed the lovely, serene patio. Our host, María José, was excellent with communication: she gave clear directions to the home, met us, and checked in to make sure all was going smoothly. We also appreciated her recommendations for a little walking tour and dinner nearby. Highly recommend this property!
