Craigmount

Proper home cooked breakfast with a large selection of choices on the menu. Lovely hosts who have a clean and well presented hotel with lots of personal touches. Location 2 mins walk into town plus having parking a bonus too. Nothing to complain about at all .

I can't think of anything negative

From the moment we arrived and were met by Nicole who provided an excellent property briefing, from property access and accommodations to meal selections and preferred dining times (the evening meal and breakfast were both excellent, by the way) as well as any dietary concerns the patrons might have. Malcolm was gregarious and engaging, sharing humorous anecdotes about local/area residents & patrons and the surrounding area, while maintaining professional discretion regarding the identities of some of the more well-known patrons who have stayed there. Good times and easy laughs! Big fun!

That we had but one evening to stay there due to our travel itinerary, and that they Craigmount Inn was usually fully booked (which tells the tale)!

A personal touch, a lovely book-themed concept throughout the property, and welcoming hosts who live on-site.

The room was really quite cramped for two people, and there was no possibility to control the heating.

Location

Tv up the corner. No space to put things in bathroom.
