Good apart from the departure and arrival times.
Having to leave a one bedroom small cottage at 9.00 am because of covid and the necessity to thoroughly clean was extreme. Especially as the new arrivals were not allowed in until 5.00 pm. 8 hours to Covid clean a small one bed cottage! Excessive. last year departure time was was 10.00 am. For this reason we will be looking for another property in Wigtown next year.

Utterly perfect. Even better than being at home!
Everything! We've never stayed in such a well-finished, well-equipped self-catering holiday home. So many thoughtful touches, like the Nespresso machine (with capsules!), toiletries and the selection of DVDs. The shower is exceptionally spacious and very modern. Every possible piece of kitchen equipment and crockery is provided. It was honestly better than being at home! The deck out back is perfect for viewing the stars. Pin-drop quiet at night but just a few minutes' walk from loads of bookshops and the unbelievably gorgeous cakes and coffee at Reading Lasses. We will definitely be back.
