We loved having both sides for pur large family. The cottage was very clean and spacious. The Gulf Shores Plantation resort has very nice pools, and nice short walk to the beach!

We had the best vacation here. The beach is a short walk and the many pools are fun to explore. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of; a normal coffee pot, a Keureg, mixing bowls, blender etc. We love that Sassy Bass is waking distance, too!

We had 14 people so we neede lots of space. We had 8 kids so it was a good place for a large group. The negative was the stairs we had to climb . It was three levels. The positive was the beach and pool was close. Also they were doing some siding work that hadn’t been completed yet

The house was a great location and a great layout for a large family on vacation. Unfortunately the house wasn't the cleanest. The air filters were packed and looked like that hadn’t been changed in a very long time. There was one extra air filter in the house so we were able to change one. We called maintenance to change the other but they never showed up. When we booked the house they advertised bunk beds in 2 of the rooms and futons in the lofts of the master bedrooms. Neither the futons or bunk beds were there. So we had to use the pull out couches. Only one of the pull out couches worked. The other we pulled out it got stuck half way and we could not use the couch the rest of the trip. The house was also wrapped from them working on siding and covered half the windows. I understand they are working on the house from the hurricane but they could of at least messaged us to let us know half the windows were covered. This house is in need of a serious cleaning and an updated. But all in all it was a great location and we would stay there again.
