BRITTAINS' BEACON is a 2300 sq. ft., 6 bedroom, 3 bath beach home with 2 separate living areas situated high above the rest on a dune overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. 1st tier back. Downstairs is completely separate from upper level, you must enter each level from outside. This property is in a small, low traffic subdivision, perfect for bicycles, golf carts, baby strollers, pet and family walks. The beaches are wide, easily accessible, pet friendly and blissfully uncrowded. There are two public beach accesses, both within 1 block of the house. This home has a 500 sq. ft. main deck facing the gulf with table & chairs plus a shaded lower deck with rocking chairs and concrete carport area for a perfect game playing space. We provide a contractor size fan for those low breeze days.
Home has large greatroom with vaulted ceiling and lots of glass for spectacular viewing. (sliding door recently replaced) Lower level family room has a glass patio door onto the lower deck, also offering the Gulf view. Covered parking for 1 vehicle and plenty of additional parking space for 8+ cars, outside shower, all on a spacious lot. Commercial, 2 pot Bunn coffee brewer with warmer on main level. Beds: Upstairs 4 bedrooms - 1 bed per room K, 3Q & 1 Sleeper sofa in LR. Downstairs: 1 bedroom & 1 bunk room - 1Q, 1 set of bunks, 2 Q Murphy beds in family room. Downstairs is completely separate from upper level, you must enter each level from outside.
For all you golfers, our subdivision is beside Kiva Dunes. If you are not familiar with Gulf Shores, there are dozens of beautiful courses. Our house is great for 2 or 3 golf foursomes. There are 9 separate beds plus the Bunn coffee brewer and ice machine.

The house was great for what we needed! We did end up renting a golf cart for my aging parents which definitely helped. The beach access point were either to the left and the right but not too far. The views were also good. The house we adequately equipped in the kitchen. The professional coffee maker was ON POINT as well as the commercial ice maker. This saved us 7 days of traveling to get ice for the coolers. There were plenty of toys for the kids that were in the back of the house along with a beach wagon! This was great! Would definitely rent again!

House was very well stocked with everything you would need. Has a very short walk to the beach. The house is split 2 bedrooms downstairs and 4 upstairs. (upstairs is split like a duplex 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom per side). Perfect for numerous small families to have privacy. Host was quick to answer when need. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

This house is so well laid out. Have a family of 5 with us and they stayed in the lower part of the house which was perfect. Five adults and a child under 2 stayed in the upper level. They had so many cooking utensils and silverware. They were well stocked. The only places I have stay that had EVERYTHING you need. We did not need to communicate with the owner. Everything worked. No problems. Recommend this place for sure.

We got settled in on check in day with 14 people after a full day of travel. We had a meal planned but needed a grill. The grill was just a mess. We had to take the food off and finish in the oven. We then discovered that one of the burners didn’t work.on the stove. We also had a shrimp boil planned but the giant pot was so disgusting that we couldn’t do it. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. The extra ice machine was awesome. The gulf view was nice, but was ruined because the sliding door has failed and you cannot see through it. The shower head in the bathroom needs replacing. The deck could use sanding because we got splinters. There’s no sitting outside on the best part of the deck during rain because there’s no cover. After getting home I messaged to ask what the procedure was about an item that I thought could have been left behind. I also recommended that they spray the house because two people staying in one room had bites all over them. There were also ants (biting painful ants) under the carport (probably due to the placement of trash cans) and we had a lot of tears from children. All of this and I never received a response after the lost item question. A little maintenance would go along way on this house. We really had a fantastic week, but this one needs lots of work.
