There's plenty of space around for parking and making the most of the surroundings, plus the added benefit of doubling up with our sister-property, 'Mossy Oaks Manor' (see listing # 185847) for extra large groups of 30 or more, gives you twice the view, twice the amenities and best of all: the whole mountaintop to yourselves!
With A Floorplan That's Flexible & Expandable!: Built on 2 levels with bedrooms & baths on each, plus a large sleeping loft with its own gas log fireplace, families & friends can enjoy their privacy without sacrificing the all-important time spent together. On the main level, the unique stone fireplace, located in the center, opens at both sides to provide extra warmth & ambiance while enjoying a sumptuous meal in the dining room or relaxing & enjoying the view in the living room, with giant-screen, satellite HD/TV/VCR/DVD, cathedral ceilings & glass doors leading out to the huge open deck, which is furnished with gas BBQ grill & beautiful deck furniture. Below, the family/game room with sports theme, has a pool table, ping-pong table, & TV/VCR, dry bar, 2 bedrooms & 3rd bath, and opens out onto a private veranda overlooking the mountains & woodlands below. Plan Ahead - Workaholics Welcome!: With so many activities & opportunities for adventure, you'd be wise to plan ahead just to be sure you don't run out of vacation before you run out of fun things to do! Pristine Lake Chatuge is just down the road with 3 nearby marinas all within a short drive, so consider renting a motor boat and skis or jet skis, kayak, sailboat or perhaps a pontoon boat for a day out on the lake! Try your hand at fly-fishing or go tubing in the nearby Hiawassee River. It's only a short 30 minute drive to the scenic Alpine village of Helen, with its fine dining, quaint little shops, horse-drawn carriages & white water rafting. Don't miss the Georgia Mountain Fair, just 5 minutes from your door and check out the many concerts at the Anderson Music Hall. There are free concerts on the square every Saturday night (weather permitting) and a bevy of festivals, craft shows and special events throughout the year. Bring your laptop so you can stay in touch with the office and perhaps stay another day or so.

Great place for a large group. Lots of beds and bathrooms to accommodate all. The location is close and convenient to Hiawassee. The house was not well equipped with pots and pans and furniture was stained and could use some updating. There also was a lack of towels and no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. This was all remedied with a quick trip to town but would have been nice to have known in order to bring our own. All beds were comfortable. Two beautiful decks, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit were enjoyed by our group.

In addition to this property, we also booked the sister property, Mossy Oaks Manor. Our group thoroughly enjoyed both of these properties. They were large enough to accommodate our group. We cooked a few meals, and the kitchens were well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our food. We found the properties to be clean and in great shape. We especially enjoyed being atop our own ridge for privacy and great scenery. We also had plenty of parking for our guests. The property manager was very helpful and responded to any inquiries we had. It was a great stay, and we hope to be back next fall.

Back view was very nice — porch was nice but a few boards need some art — Kitchen floor is bulging up. Trip hazards. Needs replacing. Sofas are worn out. Ice maker out — With some repair/ replacements can be a nice rental.
