About this cabin rental
Thank you for showing interest in our cabin 'A Touch Of Heaven'. Let me take you on a tour of the cabin as you pull into newly paved driveway. You will find that there is a parking lot ample for several cars to park. From the parking lot you will see a side porch,this is where you'll enter the cabin there is a keypad lock .Once you enter the cabin you will see a spacious kitchen with farm house table seating for 8.the kitchen is equipped for lots of good meals including Keurig.Off the kitchen is an open living area that includes a second farm house table seating for 6 .Living Room has an 65 inch TV with you tube tv , WI Fi for your convenience, Stone Wood Fire Place and plenty of seating. This space opens to a huge front porch; whether you're just reading or taking in God's good nature, you will find it to be very peaceful and relaxing. Also from the living room you can enter a hallway that leads to a bathroom with a tiled shower. This bathroom is shared with a bedroom that has a unique Queen log cabin bed with a pillow top mattress,the closet has a pack n play if needed,there’s a tv with a Roku for Netflix.Directly across from this bedroom is the master bedroom for upstairs. This room offers a log king size bed ,55 inch TV, chair.The bathroom is a tiled 2 headed shower with double vanity. Now to head downstairs; this area is called the no stress zone. The bottom of the stairs will open to a large game area. There is a regulation size pool table, 50 inch TV, electric fireplace, microwave for popcorn and small frig for drinks, large bar,I think you will find this area relaxing for the whole family. Off the game room is a movie room the projector has you tube tv ,and 3 ikea loungers and Two leather movie chairs that recline ,projector for watching all your favorite movies. In this room is a air hockey table for enjoyment. You will also notice leaving the game room is a hallway that leads to two more bedroom suites. Bedroom to the right is the Bear Room. King size log bed and this closet has a dog bed and a kennel if you bring your pet, there’s also extra covers for covering furniture if you use these please wash ,tv in bedrooms has roku for you can login into your accounts to watch.This room seems to be one of the favorites. The bedroom has a bathroom with tub & shower. Now onto the wolf bedroom suite; it has a King pillow top log bed , small roll up pad for young child,tv with roku, There is also a bathroom with tub & shower. Third bedroom is the deer room has two full antique beds and full futon, tv that has roku, Almost done with the inside of the house; there is a spacious laundry room off the game room you can watch a movie on the projector or there is a air hockey game, which makes for a good hangout room. This cabin sits on over 2 acres. There is plenty of woods for walking and exploring. There is a fire pit to enjoy during those cool winter evenings. My family and I have tried to make this cabin cozy and comfortable for all ages. I hope you will enjoy it as much as my family has. Great home with all amenities and fabulous decor. Very user friendly. We loved sharing a fun time with s’mores around the fire pit. We hope we might have a chance to return.

We loved our stay at this cabin. The owner was great at communication and the property was nice. Be forewarned that the road to the cabin was extremely bumpy and uphill. We had to go past the driveway to turnaround to come back into the driveway. It’s fairly normal for gravel/dirt roads to be washed out but make sure you’re not driving a vehicle low to the ground or front wheel drive. Location to everything was great. We enjoyed the Elijah Apple Festival and the Blue Ridge Railway train ride. Definitely would recommend this cabin and can’t wait for our next trip!

Review: The home is in a beautiful location and was well stocked with plates, cooking utensils etc. We were there over Christmas and the home was decorated, though there are A LOT of things in the cabin making it feel a little cramped upstairs.
The road up to the cabin is mostly unpaved, very narrow and a bit treacherous. I wouldn’t attempt it in a smaller car or one without enough power to get up inclines. The turn into the driveway is also very sharp and may be difficult to navigate in the dark.
One thing that I think is important to note as it is not shown in any pictures is there is a large Confederate/Dixie States flag hanging in the theater/laundry room. While the owners have the absolute right to decorate and hang whatever they please in their home, I would have liked to have known it was there before renting the cabin, we would have chosen somewhere else. Members of our party have very strong feelings/reactions to that flag and we choose not to use that room other then necessarily for laundry.
