About this house rental
This space is a delightful mix of beauty, comfort, and location. We keep an immaculate, cozy home perfectly nestled near the best Austin has to offer. Pecan Square Cafe, Clark's, Lin Asian Bar + Dim Sum, and Swedish Hill restaurants are next door!
The apartment is a 2b/1b with plenty of large windows, outside porch, beautiful garden area, water fountains, comfy beds (2 queens – one in each bedroom; and 1 queen+ futon in living room).
Walkable to many restaurants (Pecan Square Cafe, Clark's, Lin Asian Bar + Dim Sum, Z-tejas, Bar Peached, Cipollina, Galaxy Cafe, Josephine House, Jeffery's), Cafe Medici (coffee lover's heaven), as well as neighborhood parks and pools. Also within walking distance of 6th Street (for bar hoppers), 2nd Street (for shoppers), the Warehouse District (for food-o-philes), Whole Foods (their flagship store) and our beloved BookPeople (for bookworms).
Includes Full kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, French press, blender, dishwasher, etc).
Not for guests who want to party. No parties or excessive noise; No loud noise after 9pm weekdays and 10pm weekends (residential area). Please be mindful as there is an apartment below you and that loud sounds can easily disturb guest(s) downstairs and/or neighbors. Thank you for your consideration.
Early check-in: Generally guests check-out and then we need several hours to sparkle and clean the apartment. You can check-in early after 11:30am, as long as you know that the space will probably not yet be clean.
Late check-out: If no guests are checking in the day you leave, then you can have a late check-out. Otherwise, we will need to start cleaning to be ready for the next guests.
Bag drop: You are always welcomed to drop you bags off early or leave them to pick up later in the day (if so contact us beforehand so that we can make arrangements).
Parking: In the back of the house is the carport. You can use either one of the two spots available. However, do not use the other spot (as it is reserved for someone else).
Although we recommend renting a car, here are other ways of getting around:
• Lyft, Uber and Taxis.
• Austin B-cycle (bike sharing).
• Car2go (membership required).
• CapMetro (Austin's public transportation is not that great).
If you need any questions or special requests, just let us know.

Great location for a great price. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore Austin. An easy scooter ride or short uber to anywhere you’d want to go. Walking distance to a Whole Foods and West 6th.

Stayed here while recovering from surgery and it was great. Food delivery options were abundant and my husband could walk to Whole Foods quickly.

Awesome location! Right in the middle of the city but hidden away on a dead-end street and secluded. Lots of funk (that's a good thing in my opinion) in the house and everything i needed was provided. I wish there had been a light blanket provided because neither only the sheet or the heavy cover were really comfortable. Then there was the sound of a vacuum running downstairs at 4:30 or 5:30 in the morning! ! assume this was the cleaning people working at some terrible time in the morning!
