About this cottage rental

Terrific fully restored two bedroom cottage in a fantastic central Austin location. Tons of light and charm. Great outdoor space. Very much an 'old Austin' vibe.

Excellent location in very high demand Clarksville area. Five minutes to downtown, 6th Street, Town Lake. 1 block to great restaurants, grocery, coffee.

Blazing fast with and direct ethernet (up to 1 gig service)

PLEASE ASK about longer term rates. Rates for March/October are much higher because of SXSW and ACL and F1 but if you are seeking longer term rental the rates may be lower.

Terrific little cottage. Tons of light. Quality, eclectic furnishings (including custom made reclaimed cedar living room furniture and kitchen cabinets).

Nice outdoor space.

Two large sunny bedrooms, each with a queen size bed.

Very walkable, friendly area. 1 block to grocery, coffee, great restaurants, grocery. Historic charming neighborhood.

High speed Level 2 electric vehicle charger in private drive (not shared with anyone else). J1772 universal compatibility - if you have a Tesla just bring your adapter).

Very much an 'old Austin' vibe.

Very friendly neighborhood. Walk to terrific restaurants and grocery and coffee. Fresh Plus Grocery, Medici Coffee and great restaurants a block away on West Lynn. Five minutes to downtown. Tons more destination restaurants and nightlife in the Clarksville neighborhod itself.

Yes. Bus line is one block away.

Uber is very easy to get here. In usually under five minutes.

Fantastic neighborhood in excellent central downtown location. Locally-owned (not a giant corporation). Austin is a boomtown and is undergoing unprecedented growth. You may hear construction going on in the neighborhood (generally restricted to reasonable daytime weekday hours but that's not a guarantee), there may be road closures for festivals, races, etc. Thank you for considering us.

If you are bringing pets please let us know detail about the pets prior to a booking request (number of pets, etc). Please also let us know info about who is coming (number of people, bedding arrangements needed, etc).

This cottage has brand new central air but during very hot periods such as when the temperature is over 100 the cottage will not cool into the 60s during the heat of the day. If this is your expectation please do not book this property. A temp of around 72 in the daytime if heats are over 100 is a more realistic expectation.

My son and I had a great time. We stayed for 8 days, and this place was perfect. We walked to dinner to the two restaurants the host recommended and they we excellent. The host has great communication, and we never had to question anything about our stay. WiFi was fast and the TV had every channel you might need.

We were so fortunate to stumble upon this listing! Charming, practical, functional and full of character, this cottage was exactly as described, but so much more. Such a sweet gem amongst this beautiful neighborhood. From morning walks through the pneumonal neighborhood, to walking to a local bar for a night cap, we were truly smitten. The host was beyond helpful and informative with the surrounding area and suggestions of places to go. Austin is always such a great experience for us. Unbeknownst to us, it was exactly what we needed to for our trip.
