Great modern accommodation

Stopped for 1 night on business trip. Made on the day booking, good communication with owner and check in process smooth. Very well appointed room with large bathroom and small area to make drinks and prepare breakfast. Nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and generous supply of coffee pods.

Despite being on a high street, it is quiet, well lit and comfortable, but the thoughtful owners provision of earplugs is a lovely touch. I had a very tranquil few days and will definitely return. The town of Pwllheli is lovely, people are friendly and helpful. As a single traveller, I enjoy my visits.

A very spooky uncomfortable stay and experience

The kitchen was well equipped

The bedroom is in the basement/ cellar which is very unwelcoming. This is not advertised on the website. It does not mention that the bedroom is in the cellar. The doors are all fire doors that are difficult to open and you can’t close them yourself so they bang shut when you’re not expecting it. The shower was completely blocked so water very quickly ran over and started to flood the floor.

Cute seaside town at terminal end of Cambrian Coastline train, a ‘chill’ place, with helpful locals.

Picking up keys from manager of nearby store worked like clockwork as specified in instructions — but don’t be late! We found the owner responded to our admittance questions promptly on the day before we arrived. No need for panic! The town was charming, fun to walk around for a few hours. We found excellent pubs and restaurants for our short stay. Recommend Whitehall gastropub for serious or casual meals. Cute cafe/b’fast in the railway station, or cheap breakfast at The Pen Cob Wetherspoon. The people here are very helpful. We explored and saw some beauty. But 1 or 2 days is enough.

The downtown stores mostly close by 4-5pm, it’s deadsville in the evening.

Overnight stay..drenched on arrival. Sunny on departure. Great meal in Diego’s on Saturday night.

Charming Ruby in nearby gift shop met us and handed over keys. Breakfast was fine..pity the instant porridge was sweetened (golden syrup flavour!). Nice fresh fruit and yogurt. Comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom. Rooms nice and warm. This helped dry off our clothes..it was very wet!

Our room was at the top of the house! Stairs to reach it were exhausting! Partner thought the tv was poor quality. Bath towels rather small for two, big people.

Lovely room with wonderful facilities

Exceptional attention to detail in the lively room we had. Tastefully furnished. Although no breakfast offered except for basket in room there was lots of choice in the basket and also in the small fridge. Everything had been thought out fir the guest to be comfortable.

Excellent place to stay in Pwllheli.

The room was comfortable and the proprietors went over and above to provide touches of luxury for their guests (Coffee machine, lovely toiletries, tasteful decoration, good breakfast hamper, fresh milk ...). The staff were so friendly and helpful too. We really enjoyed our stay.

Clean, comfortable and central. Recommended.

Central location, a few minutes walk from the railway and bus station with a good selection of local restaurants and pubs. The accommodation consisted of a bedroom with a very comfortable double bed and a double glazed window onto the high street. There was a desk with a mirror and electrical socket close by, together with other sockets and two chairs. The spacious bathroom had an excellent waterfall shower and a full-length mirror. In a small lobby between the bedroom and bathroom was a bench with kettle, coffee maker, crockery cutlery et cetera and a small fridge below, together with a tray for continental breakfast - cereal, pastry, fruit , with fresh milk and yoghurt in the fridge. The whole accommodation was spotlessly clean. There are four rooms altogether, mine was the top floor front.

I really liked the accommodation. I stayed for two nights and returned on the evening of the first day to discover that maid service had been! Can I suggest three minor improvements: 1) an ice cube tray in the freezer compartment of the fridge 2) a full-length mirror in the bedroom. (There is one in the bathroom, but it is usually fogged over when most needed!) 3) a roll of kitchen paper or paper napkins or something similar.

Perfect place for a short stay!

Spacious, comfortable, everything you could need for a short stay, and it was super-clean. Great sized bathroom, full bath, as well as shower. Shower gel, shampoo and body lotion provided, plus plenty of towels. Kitchenette with tea and coffee capsules, small carton of milk, plus continental breakfast. Check-in worked well, picked up keys from the gift shop at 2pm. Long stay parking available on Penlan Street, a short walk away. Great location, close to shops, restaurants, bars. Can highly recommend Martha Jones for a short stay.

Some noise from outside, but you're on the High Street, so you have to expect some disturbance, especially as we were staying on a Friday night. It wouldn't put me off staying again.

nice place but small detailed improvement could make the price charged worth it

breakfast was in a box and was mini cereals instant porridge poor croissants in a packet fruit and poor yogurts juice and cereal bars. Tea coffee and fresh milk. For £109 we expected something fresh and good quality. but it was cheap items in a box

The bedding was poor quality and presented scruffy. We had our own bedding with us as we were previously in a friendls place and thankfully used that. The shower tray waste was blocked and water flooded the bathroom. I removed it to prevent further damage. Positives were nicely decorated and thought out place and quiet

My opinion was that it was too expensive for the limited resources in the room.

It was very clean and nicely presented inside. The entrance was disappointing. Bed was comfy.

It was sufficiently equip, however it would benefit from having a sink to wash things up in and a microwave. The reason I say this is because there is not really any nice restaurants to eat in hence takeaways, a microwave would have met my needs to eat a proper mea. The fridge was not cold enough and my milk was in the turn very quickly. I did look to turn the fridge up but no temp dial. There was no heating in the property, whilst it was not cold when I visited , it got chilly in the evening. There is a radiator but could not get it to work, no instructions or thermostat! This would be an issue if it was cold.
