Perfect home from home

Stunning apartment… spacious and modern …very comfortable with all you need for a relaxed holiday. Super location near to several shops and eateries. Short walk to one beach, longer to another but worked really well as a base for us to explore the Llyn peninsular. Would highly recommend a stay here, and Nancy and Adam couldn’t have been more helpful. Will be returning!

We definitely recommend and would stay there again

The apartment was lovely, we enjoyed our breakfasts sitting outside in the sunshine on the balcony. The beds were comfortable though being used to king sized beds we had to be aware we hadn’t got as much space. Apartment was clean

The hob wasn’t working fully but we were made aware of this by the owner and apparently a new one is being fitted the following week.

Tarnished

The place was very spacious with a lovely layout, nicely sized bedrooms and had a nice fell about it

We had 2 young children and as it was a bank holiday weekend we decided to bring food with us due to the risk of places not being open, however the cooker hob was showing an error message and wouldn’t work. We tried all the contact numbers and only got voicemails and had to leave a voicemail on the out of hours emergency number. ( Good job it wasn’t an critical emergency) as such but that wasn’t the point as nobody contacted us at any point so the lack of support from any body associated with managing this property was palpable. As the food we had bought wasn’t for oven or microwave cooking we had to resort to paying extra for food we hadn’t planned for which was wasn’t helpful given the needs of the children.Disappointed and having the shine taken off a promising couple of days was an understatement for a property that promised so much with support that delivered absolutely nothing. Don’t get me wrong, the place itself was lovely, spacious and had a nice feel about it I thought a previous review was a one off experience. Clearly not and I would suggest that unless lessons in providing a service that meets the cost of renting the property aren’t learnt, the future for this owner isn’t bright

Unnecessarily stressful. No contact when help was required. Apartment was covered in scaffolding.

The space. Central to our needs.

Too much communication prior to arrival and then absolutely no communication after we arrived. The building was covered in scaffolding and we had an emergency alarm go off several times (carbon monoxide monitoring alarm). There was no response from the five phone numbers provided. I left voice messages and text messages to Bookings.com, Sykes Cottages and Menai Holidays. None of these messages were answered. Unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend staying at this property.
