Property was as advertised. 15 mins walk to town. Safe neighborhood. Our dog loved the back yard. We would certainly stay there again.

Cute quiet neighborhood. House was just as listed. Great backyard with many lighting bugs at night. Town was close and charming and Asheville about 20 minutes away.

All in all, we had an okay stay.. The home was clean and only one story, which was good for us. I do not usually leave negative reviews and have been lucky with VRBO thus far. We had an okay stay but left a day early even though we paid for another night. We checked in at 5pm, but the place was supposed to be ready after 4pm. There was a woman there when we arrived, but she rushed off without speaking. One of the beds and pillows were disheveled as though she had been on the bed, but we don't know for sure. It was just strange. I notified the owner but received no response. The jets in the front part of the hot tub were not working, but we could not figure out how to turn them on and nothing was found in the directions. We asked the owner about this, but again received no response. The fan in one of the bathrooms was so loud it was uncomfortable to use the bathroom. The backyard was not mowed, and there were a lot of clover and bees. I could not let my small dog walk around in the fenced in yard because of the weeds and bees. There was a hammock in the back, but the wood on one end was snapped in half making it unusable. We informed the owner about this but received no response. Only one kitchen towel was provided, so we had to use paper towels. The cooking utensils were very worn, and the drawer they were stored in was broke and almost falls out when you open it. Finally, I was not expecting the view out the front window to be a mobile home. I would say that we chose poorly and would not stay there again.
