Janias Alcalà Apartment

It's a lovely flat, spacious and modern. Nice big bathtub in the roomy bathroom, and comfy couch with big screen TV in the living room. Close to everything as the town is small and the sea is few minutes walk away.

There were a lot of ants in the kitchen. It might be a normal thing, especially in apartment blocks, and the owner probably can't do much about it. They didn't really bother us much. It's just one night we left some pastry on the table, just to find ants crawling all over them in the morning. The property page says "beachfront", which I would say is not very correct. Beach is few minutes away and the view from the flat is on a construction site. Another thing was the duvet cover. It felt super plasticy and uncomfortable, it's not very breathable either, so we were sweating a lot underneath it. Please change it 🙏 It would be great to have some kitchen basics, like salt, peper, maybe some cooking oil and such.

Nice and bright apartment, very clean, with balcony. All kitchen utensils provided. Supermarket and café in the same apartment block. Alcalá is a pretty little town with all provisions. Good walks along the beach.

Parking can be difficult on the street.

Monia - the owner of the apartment was very friendly, helpful and proactive and was waiting with the keys in front of the building. Everything was clearly explained and the flat was perfectly prepared for us (clean and smelling very good)! Rooms are exactly like on pictures. Some basic staff was already in for our use (like washing liquid, tablets, toilet paper, shower foam etc.) and little breakfast set which was nice :-). Downstairs in the same building is also very good cafeteria with coffee and some snacks/lunch menu and supermarket Dino with good assortment. Even that apartment is not in front of ocean and beach is very easy and takes only few minutes to be there. Fully recommend it!.
