Amazing two rooms in Alcalá next to the beach

Wonderful location in a somewhat less touristy village. While one can't see the waves from the window, ocean is close enough to hear them. Both beach and shops are minutes away. Parking directly at the house is somewhat limited, but the main street with plenty of space is just 5 min away. Windows are towards a 'city square' so there is some 'noise pollution' in late evenings.

Bins for waste sorting at the property would be nice addition as the containers on the street are present.

The town and plaza are very calm and charming. A ledge ladder beach is just at the other side of main Plaza where you stay. Stone and dark sand beaches, and natural pools within walking distance. Great restaurants almost everywhere. We really liked Tenedores y Sabores! The apartment is clean and comfy. The balcony is quite narrow, so not suitable for meals. Kitchen equipment ok (we didn't do much cooking), some kitchen towels and oven cloth would be helpful. The host was friendly, but she was a bit late welcoming us, even though I kept her updated after we had landed. She compensated for it with extra towels, though;) Overall great place, beautiful holiday!

Morning cleaning vehicles can be sometimes disturbing. They were the loudest in this quiet area. But the place was very clean, so we can't really complain about it. Please, change the pillows - very uncomfortable!

Location was ideal, fronting onto Alcala Old Plaza, a few paces from the sea, with bars, restaurants and a small supermarket within 1 minute walk.

There is no lift and it’s on the second floor, so not ideal for those with mobility issues. But for us it was absolutely no problem.
