With short distance of driving from Auckland CBD, could feel relaxed and peaceful surrounded by Waitākere rangers and spectacular views to Sky Tower.
The staff are very friendly

The older rooms, lounge, and restaurant could use a bit of a refresh. We checked in at 2:30 PM, but our room wasn't ready yet. The reception staff were apologetic and friendly, though. Once we got to our room, it was cozy, and the view was absolutely stunning! If you're looking to stay here, do it for the views. Keep in mind that the apartments have tiny “balconies” with just a couple of chairs though. The sauna and gym were great and so was the spa inside the room. Since dining options are limited in the area, it's a good idea to book a room with kitchen facilities so you can bring your own food.

Terrible driveway, check in staff utterly clueless nd unhelpful. However, restaurant staff very nice. Food decent.
Dirty. Put us in room with kitchen next door and heard everything. Smelled! Room not updated since 70s… thin walls. Had fan on all night to try to block out noise. I could go on and on….
Totally taking advantage of their location. Much more recommend Airbnb
