Only stayed for a night but the room was nice albeit a little worn. Two issues, for the first time in 5 trips to Germany check in person didn't speak much English and had some small communication issues. Tried to get in for breakfast and was turned away. Was told they already turned away six other rooms that morning. If this is important to you, prebook it. I'd stay here again but wouldn't go out of my way.

I booked an Executive Double Room through Agoda, but the hotel accidentally assigned a completely different room that isn’t even listed on Agoda. At check-in, I had to wait outside for about 20 minutes and even go to another building to address the issue. Having stayed in many hotels, I could tell how small and inadequate this room was. So i asked if this room was correct room what i booked and she told me that they did mistake. However, at the reception, a Ukrainian/Russian staff member widened their eyes and insisted it was “the same category,” refusing any refund and then They offered one day of breakfast as a “favor,” stating it costs 25€ per person, which felt very disrespectful. If you work in hospitality, start with an apology and act like a service professional. Worst hotel ever.

I wanted to thank you for a truly great stay. The room and the staff were both fantastic. While the king bed was notably firm (two smaller beds pushed together), the mattress topper you provided completely resolved this issue and made for a comfortable sleep. We particularly enjoyed the room's amenities, including the dual toilets, the rainfall shower, and the awesome bathtub. The proximity of the hotel to the train station (a four-minute walk) was also incredibly convenient. Thanks again for the excellent accommodations.
