Lively apartment, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay in Madrid.
The location is perfect, so central for exploring Madrid.
Be warned though, whilst cheap and cheerful, the noise throughout the night is extreme!
Restaurants below are open until 2am, there is a nightclub directly opposite club opposite which is open until 6am, and bins are collected in the early hours (2.15am due your stay).
Earplugs are provided, which definitely help!

Spacious apartment, sparkling clean in an awesome location. So far so good.
Unfortunately the Appartement is located at a very lively street and the windows are not isolated at all. The bars and restaurants below the apartment are open all night and all the noise floods the apartment. The hotel provides earplugs, but these are not helping with the noise.

I had a pleasant stay in this studio, despite some problems, which were reported during my study (with some fixed). First of all, i was given a wrong access code to the studio, and had to report it and to wait for someone to come to my rescue, having had a long-haul flight of over 12 hours. Then for some reason, the password to the wifi did not work until I reported it, then it worked. Another big problem is the drainage of the shower room. The water went away so slowly that it overflowed onto the toilet floor when I had my first shower in the studio. I reported it, but before I got a reply, I chanced into the young cleaning lady the next morning, as she was cleaning the studio next door. I asked her to help fix the drainable problem. By the end of the day, when I came back, so much blockage had been pulled out and the drainage improved, though not resolved entirely. Then there is the cooking utensils issue. I tried the induction cooker with a frying pan, but found it's not induction cooker compliant, and couldn't use it. I reported it on my checkout day. I hope they will see to this problem.
All in all, the studio was nice, clean and spacious. The only thing is that it is situated right in the centre of the city surrounded by bars and restaurants, and you can expect to hear all the noise throughout the night. It is advisable to close the wooden door of the balcony, in addition to the glass door, which helps shut out the noise. Two pairs of ear plugs were provided on the table, so you can imagine how noisy it can be during the night.
