The bedroom was so amazing when you walk in. We paid a really good price and would definitely recommend to stay. Bathroom was super clean and the beds were comfortable

This hotel was very clean and was in the perfect location to explore Ocean Drive and South Beach. The accommodation included complimentary bikes for a couple hours each day, coffee and water in room. The view from roof top pool was great. Also included was beach towels and chairs at the Beach close to 4th street. Free Trolley access was great to take a ride to mid and North Beach. The city bus over the causeway to downtown Miami was close by and inexpensive. Publix grocery, Target, and Walgreens all within walking distance. Would definitely book again based on the location and how central it was to what we wanted to see. Staff at front desk were extremely accommodating to any of our needs.

We had an unfortunate experience at the Upsun. It was our second time staying there (last time under the Urbanica name/banner) and there has clearly been no money invested for upkeep since then. The installations are looking quite dated. It was clear our bed sheets hadn't been changed when we checked in, the shower was still dirty with purple soap scum. Just overall neglect and even after apologizing multiple times, no upgrades or discounts had been offered. We stayed on the 2 floor and our premium room with balcony had zero views. Nowhere to sit or hang = useless balcony and definitely not worth paying extra. My husband is 6"4 and the shower head was installed way too low. Bad design and execution overall. The only perks are that they leave a bottle of bubbles in the room with a beach tote bag and some branded baseball caps. We will not be returning even if the rate was good, the experience left us too disappointed unfortunately...
