Absolutely stunning hotel with extremely comfortable and practical rooms. My only ask would be to make the bathroom light brighter as impossible to do makeup in that light. Beautiful bar and helpful staff. Location also convenient, 15 mins walk to city center.

I prepaid my stay at The Standards Brussels through Agoda. However, when I checked in, the hotel also charged my credit card the full amount again, saying it was only a temporary block and would be reversed after checkout. It has now been more than three weeks, and despite following up regularly, I am still waiting for my money back.
Agoda shows my booking was prepaid, yet I was charged twice. Every week the only answer I receive is “it is with our accounts and will be reversed,” but no action is taken. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and loss of trust.
I hope Agoda and the hotel resolve this issue quickly, because customers should not have to chase their refunds for weeks when they have already paid in advance.
