    We stayed at The Bell at Hampton Poyle for two nights in July and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The pub is run by a lovely, friendly couple who are supported by an absolutely excellent staff. During our stay, we had two evening meals and breakfast in the restaurant, and every single meal was outstanding. On our first night, we were served by a lovely, enthusiastic young lady who was an absolute delight, she is a real credit to the team! If we had to offer a couple of minor suggestions for improvement, the hotel room itself could do with a little updating, and the outside seating area would benefit from some more comfortable chairs. That being said, we still highly recommend The Bell and look forward to returning!

    This is a nice pub with nice rooms, staff are friendly and helpful, however I have stayed here a fair amount for work and with the noisy truck from Thames Water a regular feature opposite and the room not being as clean as has been in past I was disappointed with my stay. The bath was not the cleanest (a few hairs sadly), I found someones old sock under the bed and the carpet wasn’t that clean either-such a shame. The breakfast was lovely as ever.

    We love the Bell, I’ve stayed numerous times, this is the first time with the new owners, we stayed in room 2, North facing cool room (30Deg outside) the room was clean & bed was a 6ft queen, very comfortable, monsoon shower with good pressure, the bathroom basin was slightly blocked, however that was a minor inconvenience. The food is as good as ever, we returned from a day out on a Sunday at 4.30, they catered for us with a large king prawns Pil Pil & two portions of homemade hummus & pitta bread, The Bell does require some TLC externally and the manager confirmed it part of the long term plan, can’t wait to return.
