    I booked this hotel back when it was called T2 Residences Sathorn, but it’s now Norma Hotel Sathorn — make sure to search by the updated name if using apps like Grab. I was honestly blown away by the quality, comfort, and service here. Even though it’s classified as a 3-star hotel, the experience felt far more luxurious than a recent stay I had at a '5-star' property in Bangkok (Pullman Bangkok Hotel G). Here’s what stood out to me: * The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful — genuine hospitality, not just going through the motions. * The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and modern, with thoughtful ambient lighting, sleek floors, and a cosy sitting area. * Air conditioning was strong and chilled the room perfectly — exactly what you need in Bangkok’s heat. * Water pressure was excellent, and the temperature controls actually worked properly — something even many 5-star hotels fail to get right. * Smart TV with Netflix and YouTube — a nice bonus you don’t always get, even at more expensive hotels. * Overall cleanliness and facilities (including shared spaces and restrooms) were excellent — very modern and well-kept. A few things to keep in mind: * Toiletries are minimal (just a small shampoo and body wash), but I usually bring my own, so it didn’t bother me. * Only one lift available, but stairs are close by and manageable if you're not on a high floor. * Location is quiet and pleasant, with cafés nearby, but about a 15–20 minute walk to the nearest BTS station (Sala Daeng or Chong Nonsi). There’s a bus stop outside, but Bangkok traffic can be unpredictable. * I was able to leave my luggage behind upon check-out at 12pm, as my flight wasn't scheduled to depart until late at night. Final thoughts: This hotel is a true hidden gem. It’s proof that you don’t need a 5-star rating to deliver 5-star service and comfort. I would absolutely stay here again — highly recommended!
