The hotel situated in a great location. The Yao Ma Tei station is just right infront of the hotel building. The bus stops is literally just few steps away especially the A21 bus stop. 7 eleven and Circle K just few steps away. Many restaurants downstairs. We found a good and cheap restaurant just 1 block away. and also the well known Kuen Fat Kitchen is just 1 block away. The management is very responsive. The room is just good for the 3 of us. a little small but enough. Overall we had a great stay!

The hostel appealed to me because I only need a bed to sleep in for my 3 week visit to a friend. The room is clean but very small, has a small en suite with shower, has a kettle (that I did need) and a TV (that I didn’t). For half the price of a standard hotel I was very satisfied.

We booked two rooms despite the lack of reviews outside Agoda, and it turned out to be a great decision. The location is excellent—just a few steps from the MTR station, bus stops, and a convenience store. Compared to many hostels in Hong Kong, the rooms felt slightly more spacious, which was a pleasant surprise given how compact accommodations usually are. Check-in was easy: we simply scanned a QR code to contact the staff via WhatsApp, and they responded quickly and assisted us smoothly. The only minor issue was a broken bathroom door, but there was a curtain so it was still manageable. Overall, if I return to Hong Kong and need a budget-friendly place to stay, I would definitely book Sunrise Hostel again.

If you're really just looking for somewhere to sleep and take a bath, I'd def recommend it and it's just few feet away from the mtr exit B2 in Yao Ma Tei
