    Staff were really helpful. A mix up over dates was quickly sorted. Breakfast was a lovely calm setting and food good. Met friends for lunch in the restaurant and they were impressed with the food and relaxed atmosphere. Bedroom quiet and equipped with all that was needed. A big hotel with a small hotel feel

    If you have sensitive skin and are particularly concerned about cleanliness, Hotel Stage may not be a suitable choice at the moment. This was our third stay, and we had never experienced any hygiene issues before. We chose a hotel we trusted, despite the much higher-than-usual price, so this experience was particularly disappointing. When we arrived, there were stains on the bed linen and the floor was not clean. After the bedding was changed, we found a lot of hair on the mattress, which appeared not to have been cleaned for a long time. It took a long time to get everything sorted out before we could leave. That night, I started feeling itchy all over as soon as I went to bed and barely slept. I was still itchy the next morning, so we decided to cancel the rest of our stay. The hotel agreed to let us check out early and gave us a two-hour late check-out. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay, especially after our previous good experiences here.
