For the price of a hotel, there’s rice cooker, fridge, oven, and lots of facilities. Great place. No hairdryer tho.

It is very spacious. Just that when it rained the other day, our room was kind of flooded a bit.

Location is superb as its actually very near to Pekan Ranau esp to Ranau Hakka Food Court. 5 mins drive. Booked for the biggest room - which can accomodate 4 person, has seperate kitchen + bathroom. Ada cuckoo + hot water for shower. Very spacious!
Cons: TV not working. Wifi very slow. AC panas! Owner please service ur AC. Panas gila cuaca :( Bathroom - owner please check lantai masih ada kuning kuning dan licin sebab lumut maybe. Most probably kena berus lah atleast.

First of all, the Google Maps location is not accurate. It brings you to the back of the house, so it was quite confusing when trying to find the actual property.
I honestly was not expecting the homestay to be located right beside a chicken hen — and not just a small one, but a HUGE chicken hen! 😅
Parking was also quite difficult because there seemed to be quite a lot of people coming to the area, apparently for cockfighting. With that kind of activity happening around the property, I personally felt quite uncomfortable and unsafe, especially as a guest staying there.
As for the room, the condition was not very well maintained. The mattress cover/sheet was torn, and the extra bed was charged at quite a high price considering the quality and condition of the bed provided.
The bathroom also needs attention. The toilet bowl needs to be repaired/serviced, and please fix the water heater/shower as well. These are basic facilities that should be working properly for guests.
Overall, I think the property needs improvement in terms of location information, maintenance, cleanliness and basic facilities. The price may be reasonable depending on the booking, but the condition of the room and facilities should match what guests are paying for.
Just OK if you need a few hours time to sleep.
