    The hotel staff were very welcoming. I was a bit early and they kindly kept my luggage so I could enjoy the town. The reception and breakfast area had nice decor. My single room was comfortable, nice crisp sheets, I found the pillow a bit too high for me but otherwise cannot complain. I had a large window to the quiet cobbled street which was nice and tea/coffee making facility in the room. The carpet and decor in the room is a little tired with the odd stain on the carpet but it was clean and for what I paid it made little difference to me. It was good value for money, I felt welcomed and safe and would go back there in a blink. I gladly recommend this hotel

    we must have gotten the crappiest room - tucked into a corner with windows made of polycarbonate. I dunno what alley it opens into and i do suspect its the garage area of the adjacent building - i can hear cars on the ramp. i can also hear toilet flushing as well in the room above or next door - can't really tell. all the door slamming from adjacent rooms and custodial staff are very audible,. the bedding wasn't comfy, the room didn't have a fridge the toilet reeks , and the tv had vertical lines running down the screen. zero effort shown in maintenance and its crumbling in real time. the front office staff mitigates shortcomings mostly and we did manage to get the intial room changed but its only marginally better. so all in, avoid this property i would say and spend your money elsewhere.
