    Really enjoyed our stay at Spices Hotel Penang. The hotel itself is so beautiful and has a lot of character. I really love the red-brick building and the old-school feel, honestly feels like staying in a little kampung in the middle of Penang. The room was clean and tidy, and I especially loved the little outdoor sitting area. Once you open the sliding door, there’s a place to sit outside under the trees. It was so nice to just sit there and relax. The whole place feels very peaceful and cosy. The location is also really convenient. There are lots of nice spots around the hotel for walking and taking photos, with trishaws, souvenir shops and cute little streets nearby. It really gives you that old Penang vibe. Parking is available right in front of the hotel, which was a big plus for us. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I also appreciate that the hotel is Muslim-friendly. You need to take off your shoes before entering, and there’s a Qibla direction in the room for prayer. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere here. It doesn’t feel like a typical modern hotel, it has a very homely, traditional feel that makes the stay more special. Definitely would recommend this place if you want to experience a different side of Penang. ❤️

    Hotel is in the heart of the old George Town, everything is walking distance. Staffs are very friendly, Niera was very helpful for the problem that we faced.
