    We had an amazing time at the shola resort hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast had many delicious options. I give this place 5 stars and recommend it.

    It’s worth considering if you get a good discount; otherwise, considering the facilities provided, I feel the property is quite expensive. The room was okay, but I don’t feel it justified the price we paid. The furniture is average, and the sofa was old and uncomfortable to sit on. The guest management and staff service were good. The food was also good, and the swimming pool was well maintained. However, the outdoor activities were not properly maintained, especially the kids’ activity area. It was quite messy, and some of the activities/equipment were not working. There is also an additional area behind it intended for other activities, but it was not operational during our stay. The rooms also look somewhat old, and in some areas, we noticed signs of fungus/moisture. Overall, the stay was okay, but the property needs better maintenance and more facilities to justify its regular pricing. If you get a good discount, it may be worth considering.

    1. Excessive noise throughout the night: The balcony glass door was making continuous noise due to the wind, and the sound of the wind was extremely loud inside the room. There was virtually no sound insulation, and it felt as though we were sleeping in an open area. We could not sleep properly throughout the entire night. 2. Slippery bathroom/toilet floor, creating a safety concern. 3. Damp/musty smell from the bed linen, which made the room uncomfortable. 4. Visible stains on the curtains and blinds, giving the room an unclean and poorly maintained appearance. 5. Chipped coffee cup provided by the restaurant. 6. Clogged washbasin, which should have been checked before the room was given to guests. 7. Poor guest privacy/service timing: A staff member rang our room bell after 9:00 pm asking whether we needed water. This was particularly disturbing when we were already trying to sleep sith our 5 month old baby. 8. Dusty and poorly maintained menu card, which was not appropriate for a hotel of this standard. 9. No commercially sealed drinking-water bottles were provided in the room. 10. Several old, broken and poorly maintained items were present in the room/property. Overall, the room did not feel properly maintained or prepared for guests. The combination of the noise, damp linen, cleanliness issues, damaged items and poor maintenance made the stay extremely uncomfortable. We paid for a comfortable hotel stay but unfortunately did not receive the standard we expected.
