We barely left the resort because it had everything we needed. As a certified scuba diver, I joined two morning boat dives with their dive centre, and the staff were incredibly attentive, accommodating, and professional, making the whole experience enjoyable and hassle-free.
The complimentary breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. There was a great variety of food every morning, and it was so filling that our next meal was usually dinner! 😆
The room was spacious, clean, and came with a private balcony, which was perfect for relaxing. The resort also offers plenty of activities, so there’s always something to do without having to leave the property.
The only downside is that it’s about a 45-minute to 1-hour drive from Cebu City, depending on traffic. However, having direct access to a private beach more than makes up for the distance.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back again.

Shangrila Mactan was a awesome experience for the while family. The resort has a lot of activity for everyone, dine in was excellent as well as the buffet. The beach is the only shortcoming of the resort as the beach is small and rocky. Not ideal for swimming but execellent for snorkling, a alot of fish species just close to the shore. The staff is magnificent, they are awesome. Overall a great vacation and will be back in the near future.

Nothing amazing or extraordinary. The staff were too slow with requests and the breakfast buffet was so unsatisfactory.
