S@fe Landing Lodge

A praia é linda, apesar de não ter um coral bom para snorkel. O valor das referições é barato, e tudo é muito claro, eles deixam muito bem explicado tudo o que envolve e todos os custos, o que é ótimo. A limpeza do quarto poderia ser melhor, tinhamos um rato em nosso quarto que inclusive entrou na nossa mochila e comeu um chocolate lacrado que tinhamos. Vimos o rato fuçando nas coisas na segunda noite e não pudemos dormir direito por isso. O local é em meio a natureza, então é de se esperar animais, mas mesmo assim isso foi bem ruim. Mas num geral o local é lindo e vale a pena pelo valor, o pessoal do lodge é muito gentil e fomos muito bem recebidos!

- Beachfront hut metres from the sand, cold shower, very clean - short walk to the local village & nice sunset hike around 50mins or so - boat trip to the caves as a day trip - food was very basic - gorgeous crystal clear water with some snorkelling further out in the bay!

We had a wonderful stay at Safe Landing and loved every moment of it. Our beachfront bungalow was amazing, and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves every night was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. Safe Landing is also a great base for exploring the island, with everything easily accessible. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, especially the freshly made pancakes served every morning. We recommend Safe Landing to anyone looking for an affordable beachfront escape and would happily stay here again.

We stayed for 4 nights and unfortunately had bad weather during our stay. What was most disappointing was that the hotel never offered any alternative activities or solutions. Every paid activity was cancelled due to the weather, while we could see that other hotels were still offering activities. The breakfasts were abundant and good value for the price. However, lunch and dinner were around FJD 20–25 each, and the portions were very small. Of the 5 times we ate there, we were served literally the same meal 3 times. The food was not tasty at all, and honestly, I’m still not sure the “chicken” we were served was actually chicken. Unfortunately, the attitude of most of the women working there was also quite unpleasant. We often felt uncomfortable and unwelcome during our stay. The children and Aku were definitely the best part of the experience and made our stay more enjoyable. Overall, we would not recommend this place. For the price and experience, there are much better options available.
