    We loved our stay at Barefoot Manta island.🌴💙 We were a family of four travelling with two friends, and felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The people here are genuinely lovely, and it’s the wonderful staff who make the experience so special. The snorkelling was fantastic, with so much to see! We also really appreciated the commitment to conservation and caring for the reef, it made experiencing this beautiful place even more special. A very special shout-out to Tom who went above and beyond to help me with my sprained ankle. He carried me off the boat on his back when we arrived, and helped lift me back on when it was time to leave. I’m so grateful for your kindness! Tom also gave me an impromptu guitar lesson, thank you for that too! And a special shout-out to Cassa and Torika from the kitchen and bar. I loved seeing your happy faces every day. You brought so much warmth and joy to our stay. Thank you to everyone at Barefoot for making our time there so memorable. I hope you all have a wonderful life, and I really hope we meet again someday. Vinaka vakalevu! ❤️ ❤️

    They welcome you as family and the vibe is just so lovely and chill. I did find though that we regretted not having aircon in the room because it was hard to sleep at night with just a fan and we were tired during the day which ruined the stay a bit. The reef is incredible we had so much fun exploring it. We missed out on Mantas but we’re still enjoyed ourselves. The food was perfect. You feel like a big family stay rather than a fancy resort which is perfect for people like us who don’t like fancy.

    The bures don’t have locks on them and we had some of our duty free spirit bottles used by staff I’m guessing as when we got to mainland they were half empty !

    Beautiful tent style beachfront bure was super comfortable. The coral and fish straight off the beach were amazing and there was plenty to explore in our two day stay. Unfortunately the food was a bit hit and miss. There were some really good meals, but others were not so well prepared considering the price of the compulsory meal plan. The staff in the restaurant and bar were super friendly and helpful.
