    The host family has been very accommodating and helpful to us. We were upgraded to a larger room and could leave our stuff there when we went on an excursion to Bac Ha. The windows in our bedroom are big and bring lots of light, this obviously comes with hearing the traffic from the road, but it's not a busy road. They also can sort the laundry for you.

    This is a great place to stay. Rooms are spacious and a short walk to the main shopping area. Hosts are super friendly

    Unfortunately we booked this last minute and were placed in the worst room they had, I would say. We were right on the main floor by the entrance of what I would call their lobby/livingroom. If you are a light sleeper like we were, this is not ideal. From them watching tv, conversations outside our door, to the constant 24 hr traffic right outside the window which was 5ft away, we got zero sleep. I’m sure they had other rooms which would have been better but for the purpose of this review it is based on what we had. The staff here are very friendly and try to accommodate their best. Location is walking distance from amenities and social areas. Room was clean enough but we had one very tiny pillow that could barely count as a pillow. We had booked for 2 nights but decided we would cancel the second night and head more towards city center. Agoda did not offer us a cancellation option so we decided to check out at the regular check out time. No one was around at the time for us to say we were leaving so we just left. A few moments into our walk the owner had chased us down on his bike…offering to put us in a different room since new ones had opened up. We respectfully declined and to our surprise he offered us a refund for the night we didn’t stay. If that isn’t true appreciation and customer service I don’t know what is. Thank you for that Mr. Owner and family. In conclusion as long as you are not in the room on the first floor by the door this a good place for the price
