We were impressed by the host Maria's warm hospitality and attention to detail. The accommodation was clean and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat throughout our stay. Maria went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. The location was fantastic, with all the beautiful views of Santorini and nice restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful time in here!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at HELIOS cave house. The caldera view and the iconic views of the white house from the balcony is top-notch! And the best sunset in the world from this balcony is what makes our trip unforgettable. The host Maria is very nice and detailed oriented. The communication with her was smooth and prompt. Upon arrival, we were given a thorough tour of the property. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The only thing that may need to be improved is the hot water supply facility. The hot water is not consistent and water volume is not big enough. With that being said, everything else exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, with all the best picturesque scenery of Santorini. We loved and enjoyed exploring the area. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Maria and her property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

LOCATION - We had a hard time finding the hotel. The host was kind enough to send her staff to the shop whose owner called her and informed her that we were lost. It is a bit of a walk to the bus stop especially because oia has slopes and steps. But the hotel itself is on street level with rooms only 1 for down so not many steps there. It is a few minutes walk to the castle. It is at the north end beyond the castle and windmills. HOST & STAFF - The host was very friendly. She also came half way to recieve us as we couldn't find the property. Upon reaching the property she gave us snacks and juice. She had also offered us a discount for the next stay. The staff was also nice. They helped us with luggage from that shop to the hotel room. The were there to answer or help with anything they could. CLEANLINESS - The entire property was clean including the terrace, courtyard, rooms, bathroom. ROOMS - It was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. There were a lot of amenities. Our jacuzzi was outside the room so we did not prefer to use but it was covered so must be clean. Also we would have liked the room to be a little more lit although it was sufficient. That's our personal preference. Since the rooms are on a lower level there was no window in the room but the kitchenette did have a small window. KITCHENETTE - There was a small kitchenette loaded with appliances like microwave, oven, goods, cutlery. Everything we needed was there if we would have liked to cook. BATHROOM - Good shower pressure, drainage. Toiletries were nice. Had Slippers. There was warm water but the button for geyser is outside (near the wall after entering the room). BREAKFAST - It was not cooked breakfast but was plentiful and nice. Breads, jams, butters, fruits, eggs, juices, milk, wine, toats, cornflakes, chocolates, bars etc etc. It was all nice. Especially loved the bars. TERRACE - It was a very tastefully done terrace with swing, benches, sofa, sunshades. It overlooked the caldera and had sunset views. But we did not like the views from there so went to the castle. It is a good clean property with good hosts, loaded with appliances and breakfast items however we booked it for the views which we did not enjoy so maybe would try something else if we return to OIA. But again the views of the caldera and sunset were there.

What a gorgeous little find this place was. The room comes with a really good fridge, packed with foods and juice for breakfast and snacks on arrival. There was even a bottle of Greek wine. The room was large and even had a kitchenette to prepare food. It had a microwave, toaster and capsule coffee machine. Loads of small extras which were really thoughtful. The rooms are built into the rock, so they stay cool, especially with the aircon. The water pressure in the shower was great too. Rooms were very clean. The bed is on the firm-side, with a mattress topper. That suited us as we like them that way. Outside there was a hot tub ready for us and even one upstairs in the generous private terrace with plenty of seating for the 3 rooms, meaning you don’t have to wrestle the outrageous Oia crowds to get a great sunset view. The owner was easy to get hold of with great communication. The staff were kind enough to fetch us to take us to the hotel as Oía is pedestrianised, so taxis can’t get to the town centre. They helpfully carried our luggage. Several hotels seem to offer this service as we saw their porters carrying luggage, which was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.
