    If coming from Sakaide station, I recommend taking a taxi or wait for a scheduled public transport (not too often), but definitely do not attempt to walk :) I am not sure if access to a hot spring is available for all guests; personally, this adds value to the experience. Their breakfast is definitely worth trying; most available dish in the buffet offer an experience of the prefecture (albeit somewhat simplified).

    We had a rental car so transport wasn't a problem for us, but just looking at the map, it's probably a bit out of the way if you're on public transport. Other than that, the hotel was very pleasant to stay at. Having to return your key everytime you go out is a bit of a hassle, but not a big problem. They have a separate restaurant within the complex and it looked good ( we didn't get to try it ) When we stayed, we got given free entry to a local public bath which is approx. 7 min walk from the hotel. Ended up going there 2 nights in a row and didn't get to check the hotel's own bath unfortunately.

    The room itself was that ugly business hotel brown, and with a very basic unit bath. I wish the shower/bath room was a bit nicer. But, this was also the largest hotel room I've stayed in in Japan in a long time. Nice and spacious, and comfy. The hotel is about 25 mins walk from the JR station, which is a bit of a hike, but once I got there, there's conbini, restaurants, pretty convenient location in that respect. And a highlight was a ticket for free entry to the onsen bathhouse down the street. There's a hot bath in the hotel as well, but this opportunity to visit a full bathhouse was a really nice extra perk.
