An extremely well-managed property, I am impressed with the care and hospitality from the moment post-booking to arrival. I am only on 2nd night of my 1 week day in the wonderful well-maintained 3 storey Treehouse surrounded by tall and abundant Mango trees, Burmese Grapefruit, Jackfruit, Durian, Coconut and Durian trees and I am extending another 2 more nights to experience the Riverfront villa.
Hotel organised a tuk from the VET bus station 15mins away for $3.75, made life so easy. The menu is extensive and every meal I had thus far was well-prepared with great attentive service and exceeded expectations. They support local, toiletries are from Kambio.
Amazing views of the Kampot river and Bokor Mountains,, private enough for yoga practice anywhere on premise, nice beach.

If you prefer nature over city, this place is for you. Some 10-15 minutes ride out of the city, located directly by the river, the lush Sabay Beach offers very nice and clean rooms, free rental kayaks to go up and down the river, extremely good food and the nicest staff! Our kids especially loved the playful cats at the resort. We would come back any minute, we loved it!

The room I booked was:
a- made of wood and leaning
b- lacking any sort of privacy (had a big glass window facing the common area with no curtain)
c- lacking proper ventilation (AC was ancient)
d- the “en-suite” bathroom was not inside the room.
I requested a refund on the price of my room and stayed in my friends’ family room and I was charged for the night I didn’t stay in said room. Other rooms which have the bathroom on the ground floor of a three floor structure don’t have any signage stating that are private bathrooms, which lead to an awful incident with another guest.
The staff is very polite and try to be accommodating but when the place is in such a need for repairs, it is not enough.
