    If one is looking for "upscale" maybe look elsewhere. Ruan Mai is modest and a bit small. But the rooms are more than adequate (although they could benefit from a chair and small table). Aside from that, the location is perfect - right on the beach. Finally, the staff is the BEST!

    I stayed for one night before heading off on a scuba diving trip. The room was all I needed, spacious, clean and a small balcony. The room also had a kettle and fridge, I brought breakfast things with me so this was really handy. Friendly staff and great location.

    Spacious room 10 seconds walk from the sea, near all shops access from main road. Has everything you need.

    Clean rooms and great terrace to chill on. Spacious old school Thai beach rooms . I can't wait to come back. Right in the middle of NaiYang beach road and a 6 minute cab ride from the airport. It takes around 30 seconds to leave my door and jump in the sea . Great restaurants on the sand as well.
