    Room was clean but had issues with a light which wouldn’t turn off (which the staff fixed once we reported it) and a noisy air conditioner. Breakfast was poor. Not enough staff. Hardly anyone spoke e English.

    This hotel is in a great location in Gyeongju city. Right next to the Gyeongju express bus terminal, walking distance to local restaurants, bars, shops and laundries. I tried 한돈단불뒷고기 (Greatly priced, tasty BBQ, mostly local customers), and 조은세탁전문점 (general washing and folding starts from US 10 dollars! Very nice service as well). Both highly recommended and 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Local bus station is also about 3 minutes walking distance that goes to Bulguksa and KTX train station. Breakfast was clean and nice. Mixture of Korean food and western style breakfast. Coffee machine makes freshly ground coffee, but you need to add milk on the side. There is a water purifier and premix coffee at the lobby, so you could refill if you have a water bottle and drink premix coffee anytime. Every floor has an air purifier that keeps the air nice. Spacious room with good bathroom with shower over a bathtub. The room had a decent view, although it might depend on your room at the time of stay. Check in time is late at 4pm, however because of late check in time, check out time is at noon, which is quite generous compared to other hotels. Definitely recommend this hotel.

    I stayed here for three nights and unfortunately had a pretty frustrating experience overall. I originally booked a room with one queen bed, but that didn’t end up happening. The first night we were placed in a room with two twin beds, and then moved again for the remaining nights into a room with two full beds. The biggest issue was the first night. The room had serious electrical problems—lights were flickering constantly, and the A/C remote didn’t work at all. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was no one at the front desk after midnight, so we couldn’t get help until the next day. We also had to request room service ourselves after going a full day without any service, which shouldn’t happen at this price point. That said, the woman working the front desk the next day was clearly doing everything she could. She seemed to be the only staff member on duty, handled multiple issues at once, and was professional and apologetic. She did mention that management is aware of the electrical problems, which is concerning considering guests are still being placed in those rooms. Once we moved rooms, things were better—the room was clean and the stay was fine from that point on, even though it still wasn’t the room type I originally booked. Overall, I’d probably look elsewhere for the price. There are too many inconsistencies and unresolved issues here to justify the cost.
