    I stayed at the Riva Surya which I have previously visited after staying nearby and really like the hotel location which is an area my wife and I frequently visit to enjoy Rambuttri Street and Garden Massage etc. The hotel offers an excellent level of luxury and is more expensive than many other options in the immediate area but it has outstanding standarsd and in fact I have rebooked for four nights in January 2027 when my wife and I will transit via Bangkok from Vietnam and the excellent rooms and balconies overlooking the river are indeed a major selling point in addition to the service and restaurant meals supported by the highest levels of customer centric service delivery and highest quality meals etc. I also like the swimming pool and the surrounding seating or relaxing options and am looking forward to returning.

    Im enjoying my stay at riva surya and the staff are excellent. There are however some improvements the hotel could make to really make it a stand out, must book experience and value for money. Use local artisan crockery in the hotel rooms instead of the old style white cup and saucer Robes feel cheap and should be replaced The hotel only provides 2 free bottles of water per day but the last hotel I stayed at provided 4 Hotel should provide fresh or plunger coffee Room side tables are too far away from the bed The balcony is nice but could do with a few extra touches like tea lights or flowers Riva surya could take some ideas from newer fresher hotels that are a fraction of riva suryas prices yet both surprise and delight with their decor and little touches.

    Great view, perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway by the river. Most of the staff were helpful, but the check-in reception wasn't very welcoming. Cleanliness still needs attention, as we noticed dust in multiple spots and corners. The elevator lobby requires better housekeeping management. Leaving equipment and extra beds in this area creates an ongoing obstruction and looks unprofessional for a hotel in this price range. That said, it is still a decent option overall compared to nearby hotels.
