Staff: The staff performance was generally average. While they were polite, the level of attentiveness, responsiveness, and service efficiency did not meet the expectations one would typically have for a comfortable and smooth stay. Services & Facilities: The hotel’s services and facilities were also average. Basic requirements were met, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Some areas of the property could benefit from better maintenance and improved guest support services. Location: The hotel is located directly next to Bukhara Airport, which can be convenient for travelers with early flights or short transit stays. However, guests should be aware that the location may not be ideal for sightseeing or easy access to Bukhara’s historical attractions. For travelers arriving via the Kogon–Bukhara Train Station, the hotel is situated almost halfway between the Bukhara city center and Kogon Station. This means travel time to both areas is similar 15 to 20 minutes drive to city center from hotel and same to train station, and it may require additional planning and transportation arrangements. Breakfast: The breakfast provided was below average. The variety, freshness, and overall quality of the items offered did not meet expectations. There is significant room for improvement in terms of taste, selection, and presentation. Taxi Availability: Taxi wait times were inconsistent. On average, securing a taxi required anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, which may be inconvenient for travelers who need timely transportation, especially during peak hours or early morning departures. Local/City/Tourist Tax: One of the most disappointing aspects of the stay was the additional charges imposed under local/city/tourist taxes. The taxes amounted to nearly 40% of the total room rate, which is considerably high. For example, for a room priced at USD 100 per night, an additional USD 40 was added by the hotel. Guests should factor this into their budget to avoid surprises at checkout. Bed Quality: The bed quality was below expectations. The mattress had hard springs and was not comfortable, which affected the sleep quality during the stay. A more comfortable mattress would greatly improve the guest experience. Room Size: Room sizes are generous and big as compared to other hotels in Bukhara. Customer service at the front desk/reservation counter needs to be improved greatly.
