Badyan Boutique Bukhara Hotel

Hotel Badyan Boutique, Bukhara. Sam's travelog for Indian travellers.. Hotel is well known on local yandex app, necessary for taxi booking once u reach Bukhara railway station. It's abt 2km from old Bukhara town which is known as lyabi house and is the only major tourist attraction, well connected by local taxis and yandex rides and bus too. I can even walk if u njoy that. Rest Mohi khosa palace and Bukhara bozori an equivalent of Chorsu bazar in Tashkent, are all away from hotel. Taxi on yandex are avbl. Stay was comfortable, rooms small in size but well equipped and nicely kept. Smart TV was avbl with a small fridge and hair dryer. It's a 3 star type hotel with responsive staff. English again is not spoken outside except nicely by receptionists. No gym no pool. The functionality and standard knitting of the rooms was keenly maintained. The staff overall was polite and helpful. We couldn't find any ironing facility. Breakfast spread was not too big but was good and well refilled. Fruits are served. Vegetarians can find enough to suit their needs. Very tasty Omelette on demand was served. Local gentry generally eats cold food, so for ones especially Indians microwave is avbl. Boiled eggs were avbl. 3 in one pouch of coffee was of good standard though u can brew ur green or black tea. Cold Milk is served. Hotel is far from train station though served well by taxis that can be tracked through yandex app. No metro station is avbl. Local market including a fast food shop Choykhana, few stores, ice team parlor, ATMs are right next to hotel. Ticket system in buses is very comfortable. In complete uzbekistan, for bus and metro / tram tickets, u can pay using international visa cards for urself and also co travellers through multiple taps for each journey. Taxi travel is also simple though drivers and locals would not speak in English. Google Translator was extensively used to communicate. Overall a very good experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The cleanliness, unique breakfast, and overall ambience were top-notch. The rooms were clean and spacious, though the AC placement could have been better for more effective cooling. The staff were courteous and truly deserve appreciation.

We arrived early at 4am. The reception cannot speak english and fully communicate with us through google translate and didn't understand anything. He charged us two times fold for the tourist tax. In the end owner still return the money. However there's commission when i paid by card, and the value of this loss still paid by me. they didn't want to return by cancel through edc machine. even the guy only said sorry because he's new and doesn't know how to do it. Also, we have asked to check us in at put our luggage inside our room because we're out from 8am until afternoon. However upon our arrival at 4pm, we're not checked in. and the rooms not ready we wait for an hour. even we got offered to move to double bed room which is cheaper. all staff other than owner only speaks russian. on departure when i asked for concierge to help with luggage. they don't understand and i have to bring luggage myself they don't even care. all my bad experience and loss wasn't compensated. Room is really small and had bad ergonomic. it's very difficult to open our luggage. if we have -10 then i will rate the maximum minus of this hotel. but idk if this behavior ia vecause we are south east asian and only book with ota which is cheaper
