    The location is the only good thing about Panvaree. Waking up on the lake was very special but the accommodation sucked. Filthy dirty, old and rundown, unsafe and not any where near worth the price tag. They called it an Eco resort which is an absolute joke. No wifi, which was a massive annoyance due to needing to book and follow up other accommodation. Pretty sure our sheets were dirty due to the black hairs found in the bed, the boat tours provided absolutely no commentary or information about the lake or national park. Food was just ok. Staff were nice but all seemed like they were checked out and on their phones most of the time. Place needs an huge overhaul and deep, deep, DEEP clean.

    Khao Sok National Park & Cheow Lan Lake was one of the most memorable parts of our Thailand trip, and staying at Panvaree made it even better. The scenery is just incredible – photos don't do it justice. A special mention to Benny, who was an absolute little diamond. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrived. In fact, all of the staff were fantastic – genuinely friendly, accommodating and always with a smile. The hike, bamboo rafting and cave tour ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. We almost didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be an unforgettable day and a real reminder of how beautiful and unique this part of Thailand is. If you're thinking about visiting Khao Sok, we can highly recommend staying in the floating bungalows for at least 2 nights and Panvaree Resort is a wonderful choice. Great people, stunning surroundings and memories we'll be talking about for a long time.

    The location is breathtaking. The hills of the Phuket mountain range are simply beautiful, rising from the crystal-clear waters of the (man-made) lake, creating small islands covered in lush vertical jungle. The bungalows are a bit worn and in need of maintenance. Overall, however, the accommodation is acceptable for the price and considering the remote location, which makes it difficult to manage.
