Pagoda has been around forever and i remember it being the one we locals frequent. Lets just say not much has changed in the last 20 or so years, both good and bad. Location is obviously still good, price well, there is only so much that can be done in Hawaii but they have rates for locals that are competitive. Not a lot of bells and whistles but gets the job done.

The local staff is very friendly and helpful. don’t miss the 5$ breakfast. The oops are very large for a value hotel and the twin queen beds were very comfortable.

Our 2 night stay at Pagoda has been comfortable. We were very lucky that our room was ready upon checking in early. It meant our day was able to start off with a nice hot shower after arriving from NZ.
Pagoda is conveniently located within easy walking distance to Walmart and a little bit further to Alamoana shopping centre. Don't miss Fridays $6 per llb meals at Farmlands Market at Alamoana ... this was our highlight for a variety of serve yourself, fresh, delicious meals . A great selection of protein and salads.
The hotel itself has excellent wifi connection, comfortable beds and is clean. Shower has good water pressure and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Hairdryer provided. No iron. There is air-conditioning, but it was cold so we left it off. No smart TV connection, but many channels for entertainment.
Would recommend for pirce, location and convenience. We would happily stay again.

Close to the airport, the hotel has seen better days. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy and had a red light on saying filter needed changing. The bed was very soft however the sheets and cover were pristine and smelt clean. If you just need a place to sleep for a few hours close to the airport it is fine. Self parking is $30 a night, tourism tax $35 a night so what seems on paper like an affordable hotel for a night makes it as expensive as a better hotel with free parking.
