    If it hadn't have been for the terrible check in and by being charged $4,400 for a $1,400 bill then this hotel would have got 5 stars! Front of house staff need to be helpful And we had the unfortunate situation of being checked in by the most unhelpful member of staff who after we returned to the desk 3 times to advise of his errors sent us away with no help at all! No apology, basically a suck it up attitude he didn't want to know or help! Having to seek help from a very helpful manager *** the following day, we eventually got the situation rectified! Hotel in is a great location for Bourbon Street and French Quarter. Rooms are good and breakfast was good. Would have gotten a great review if the check in process and a more helpful front desk individual hadn't caused issues!

    Good: location and generally friendly staff. Room was comfortable. Bad: “parking” when I booked didn’t fully disclose the $50 per night fee. One elevator didn’t work at all. Another was possessed. Going the wrong direction, no light indicator, stopping on every floor for no reason. Coming in the parking garage wasnt clear. At this price I expect better service and a bellhop waiting. We squeezed between cars carrying our own bags down a ramp and through basically a basement. Carry the bags to the bellhop captain at the reception desk. Really stupid and contradictory. View was of an industrial looking plain wall. At least paint a mural on it if I’m going to be looking at grey stucco for $300+per night. Amenities include pool and gym, both of which I think were closed. If you need the garage for security, you can pay $58/nt I think. Stay at a hotel with more character maybe for quite a bit less and still pay basically the same for parking.

    This is “supposed to be” one of the fanciest and elegant hotels in the French Quarter. It was nothing close to that. Multiple amenities were unavailable & LITERALLY only one elevator was working the entire stay, and my Dad is a disabled veteran that requires it, so it took almost 20-30 minutes EVERY time we needed to go up or down to the room, which was also not a suite as advertised…. It was single room with a King bed and a pullout couch stuffed 2 feet away from the bed. We would have chosen a different location if we were told in advance & understood the issues the hotel was having. This stay was completely unacceptable per our standards. We will not be staying there again and likely won’t ever stay at an Omni property again because if it. Yep, it was that bad…. I would hate to have been one of the wedding parties staying there at the same time…. They likely totally got screwed over much worse than we did!

    I love this hotel and have stayed here previoulsy, but it is showing a bit of wear. Also, there was zero hotwater on the first day of my stay. Othere than that: great location & grand appearance.
