Chateau Hotel New Orleans

Great hospitality from the front, Ms. Elaine & the porter guy were very friendly, helpful, and welcome. This is a boutique hotel locates in a quiet and walkable distance within the french quarter. It's very closed to French Market, the original muffaletta, cafe du monde, Jackson square.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for viewing the French quarter with our workout visiting Bourbon Street, which we did not since my daughter is only 7. We parked further down the road as the $45 fee for parking is outrageous when nearby Lots are around $20. The staff was incredible. The rooms were quaint, a little on the small side, and ours smelled heavily of bug spray although our friends did not. Be sure to mention if you cannot do stairs because there are a lot. Rooms with balconies provide a lovely view but also come with quite a bit of street noise so I would not recommend for light sleepers.

I had a lovely stay at the Chateau Hotel in New Orleans. The location honestly couldn’t be better. You’re right in the heart of everything, and almost all the places you actually want to see are an easy walk away. There are tons of restaurants nearby, close to all the attractions and the whole area has that classic New Orleans atmosphere. What surprised me most is that even being so close to the Mardi Gras action, the hotel itself stays calm and quiet. You can actually sleep, and the king-size bed was really comfortable. The hotel itself is part of the experience. The architecture is beautiful and you can tell the decor was chosen with care. The exposed beams, gas lanterns, and chandeliers give it a real character instead of feeling generic. It genuinely feels like you’re staying somewhere historic rather than just a place to drop your bags. I also want to highlight Ms Elaine. She goes above and beyond in a way that’s rare to see. She makes you feel welcome immediately and you can tell she truly cares about the guests. She’s kind, knowledgeable, professional, and just has a warm energy that makes you feel you’re in good hands the entire time. She was a big part of what made the stay memorable. The rest of the staff were also kind and helpful, which adds to the overall experience. I would absolutely stay here again. Side note Antoinette’s Coffee House that’s only 2 blocks down on Chartres street- good vibes better coffee

No hot water, I cleaned floor, thermocoal coffee cups, front desk staff guy with orange things on forehead did not know to speak English well.
